One of the best things of University is getting to know people. As you go out and start letting go of yourself and have fun, everything becomes much easier and you just don't give a shit about what happens. During my first year, I didn't go to the fresher's parties (except one, in which my flatmate took me and that was how we became friends) so I didn't get to know people. I ended up only knowing a bunch of people from my course and my flatmates. Which was good, because I managed to have a strong bond with the people I really had to know in order to have a good time at home and at class. But this year, I already know my house mates (same people as last year) and I already know my classmates, so by the end of last school year I decided that 2nd year would be different, I would hang out more and get to know more people.
